Talin Turner - Basehor, KS (May 9, 2022) - After extensive conversations with Hoosier Racing Tire, American Racer, multiple dealers across the country, and racers throughout the industry, we have made our decision on the official tire rule for the 2022 Milestone Outlaw Nationals. *The tire rule will be the same for BOTH Restrictors and Winged Outlaw.*
Right Rear Tire:
On the RR, all drivers must run one of the following tires: ASCS2, U6SA, POWRi, or a KS1. No matter what tire you choose, it must durometer 45 or harder before and after each race as you cross the scales. Doping, prepping, or any chemical altering will NOT be allowed in any capacity!!
Left Rear & Front Tires:
On the other three corners, it will be an open tire rule. You will not be required to run a Hoosier tire. Doping, prepping, or any chemical altering will NOT be allowed in any capacity!!
While we understand the tire rule and our current tire supply situation isn’t ideal, we feel this is the best possible temporary solution. *The tire rule will be the same for BOTH Restrictors and Winged Outlaw.*
Again, doping, prepping, or any chemical altering will NOT be allowed in any capacity!! Random and planned tire samples will be taken throughout the weekend and sent off to trusted labs. You must also be able to pass a durometer test before and directly after each race.
